New Hampshire GOP Primary: No Miracle Happened

Trump is confidently heading towards the presidential
nomination and has good chances for the presidency,
which may destroy many values of the collective democratic West.

Republican presidential primary in New Hampshire were held on January, 23 and Mr. Trump confidently defeated Nikki Haley. The miracle that many liberals and anti-Trump Republicans hoped for did not happen.

Mr. Trump is confidently heading towards the nomination as a presidential candidate from the Republican party, and when in the final he is again opposed by Mr. Biden (and the Democrats simply have no one else to nominate), the current “most popular Republican” has a great chance of becoming the next President of the US.

President Biden said about the Republican presidential primary in New Hampshire that «… It is now clear that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee.»

Mr. Biden also warned once again that democracy, personal freedoms and country’s economy were on stake and called on registered Republicans and independent voters to support him in the general election.

Thus, Americans will again choose the lesser of two evils, and here Electoral College may well elect the younger (only 77 years old) D. Trump as president.
……….

Why are only these two old men out of 340+ million Americans eligible for the highest office?

Has this question ever occurred to you? Are there really no worthy younger candidates in America? The current presidential candidates better should think about a life insurance, not about the country ...

For me personally, such an old age of the top officials of the state is a sign of degeneration and decline of the nation, because I already saw something similar many years ago in another country. 3 out of 4 last national leaders of USSR (the job title was “General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union”) were old enough to pass away while being on duty: Leonid Brezhnev (in the age of 76), Yuri Andropov (70), Konstantin Chernenko (74). The only exception from that rule was Mikhail Gorbachev - he was around 60 years old when USSR collapsed in 1991. I understand that life expectancy in the US should be higher than in USSR.

I remember that everyone laughed at this and called the government of the USSR “the Kremlin elders,” which, by the way, did not stop Soviet people from voting for them, because there were some guided elections in the USSR, just like it was now in Russia. Americans still don’t laugh much at their “White House elders,” probably because they see now only one of them — Mr. Biden, but Mr. Trump is not much younger.

So, why are only these two old men out of 340+ million Americans eligible for the country’s highest office?
Because the political life of the US despite the presence of some elements of democracy is monopolized by the Democratic and Republican parties. Nobody can reach any power position without being a member of one of those two parties. It was exactly the same in the authoritarian USSR - it was impossible to climb the career ladder without being a member of the Communist Party of Soviet Union.

So the difference of the state functioning of these two approaches is small. Сapitalistic competition of two parties does not save the country from problems in the same way as the “wise” rule of one party does. Now the Republicans and Democrats have almost paralyzed the political life of the US with their endless confrontation, and the CPSU led the USSR to collapse in 1991 being alone.

What will happen next if Trump re-enters the US presidency?

Everything is very clear here, since Mr. Trump and his associates do not particularly hide their intentions. They're going to make «the US complete system overhaul» to «totally obliterate the Deep State» and “fire the Deep Staters.” They are going to do that, apparently, for not being interfered while ruling the country.

I think that the «complete overhaul» of the US will either lead to a dictatorship, but the US will remain a single state for some time, or to the collapse of the US with or without a civil war. Mr. Trump can really destroy the US better and faster than whoever else, especially having the presidential capabilities to do so. Watching Mr. Trump's resilience in all his litigations, I think that he came into this world just for that.
Therefore, it is very likely that Mr. Trump will repeat the fate of the last president of the USSR, Mikhail Gorbachev, who contributed much to the collapse of his country and then remained forever the president of a non-existent state.

How much are you ready to pay for your “Greatness”?

It is interesting that Mr. Trump and his “Make America great again” followers do not see how much their actions divide the US, and therefore lead to its weakening and disintegration. Then they and many other Americans will greatly regret the loss of their “great country” and wonder how this could happen.
It was just like that in the USSR after its collapse and the nostalgia lasts until now. Mr. Putin still believes that the 1991 Soviet fall was the "greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century.”

By the way, Mr. Putin just like Mr. Trump also constantly “makes Russia great again.” Now Mr. Putin is busy doing that in Ukraine, but of course he is not fighting himself. The elite does not fight, it sends its people to die for their right or wrong principles.
Mr. Putin’s idée fixe about “great Russia” has already cost the Russians more than 300 thousand lives of their compatriots who died in Ukraine.
Actually, “greatness” is always an expensive thing.
Now imagine how many lives will a possible civil war in the US cost Americans, given their intolerance towards political opponents and the number of weapons on hand?
Mr. Trump will also not take part in the fighting, just like he did not personally participate in the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021. He will govern the survivors.

On February 8, we’ll see who wins the battle between the «Deep State» and Mr. Trump.

In the meantime, the struggle of the American «Deep State” against Mr. Trump’s resurrection continues. The next fight is scheduled for February 8, 2024. The Supreme Court will have to decide whether former President Donald Trump can be kept off the ballot because of his efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss.

The Supreme Court is about to make a truly fateful decision for the country because it could serve as a precedent and trigger for all of Mr. Trump's other legal battles. And if the court decides the case not in Mr. Trump’s favor, this could really immediately provoke unrest in the country, since he has quite a lot of followers who don’t care how many criminal cases have been filed against him. They consider this political persecution and will not stop supporting Mr. Trump.

However it is better to try to survive a relatively small unrest in February 2024 than an unambiguously bigger one in November 2024. If the Supreme Court turns a blind eye now to Mr. Trump's attempt to carry out a coup on January 6, 2021, there will be no unrest in the country only if Mr. Trump wins in November. If the Electoral College awards victory to Mr. Biden, then the scenario of January 6, 2021 will repeat itself, but on a national scale and the matter could turn into a civil war.

The judges of the Supreme Court will be thinking about all this until February, 8 before making their decision in accordance with the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution. The Supreme Court (like the other 2 branches of government and the Federal Reserve) cannot be objective and “independent” as it is commonly believed. Judges are also members of one of the main parties, they are also appointed by someone, they live in the USA and therefore the situation in the country, of course, influences their decisions. In addition, US Supreme Court judges also have their own problems with the law they are sworn to uphold.

Europe is also worried about the future US presidential elections and is afraid of Trump's return.

Mr. Trump's possible return to the White House also worries the world elites because in the global community everything is interconnected and events in the US are reflected in all countries. At the World Economic Forum, which is currently taking place in Davos (Switzerland), the topic of a possible Mr. Trump presidency is also being actively discussed on the sidelines. Europeans well remember Mr. Trump’s desire to withdraw the US from NATO, and his promise not to help the EU in the event of a military threat, and the withdrawal of the US from the Paris climate agreement...
In Europe, elites are convinced that Mr. Trump will continue his anti-globalist, unpredictable policies.

Majda Ruge of the European Council of Foreign Relations said that “… It’s not just what a Trump presidency will mean for foreign policy and trade.» She said also that an overhaul of the administrative state would “risk turning America into an illiberal democracy — that could redefine its relationship with the world.

So in Europe they also listen to Mr. Trump’s statements and understand everything correctly. The US is considered a large, rich country, committed to the principles of democracy and good neighborliness, with a powerful economy, army and the world's reserve currency. Nobody wants an unstable person like Mr. Trump to rock such a big boat - the ripples will go all over the world. Therefore, everyone is right to be wary of Mr. Trump’s promised “the US complete system overhaul.”
……….

P.S. It's interesting to note that Mr. Biden also won the Democratic primary in New Hampshire without being on the ballot due to an intra-party squabble. He thanked after his voters who wrote in his name.
It seems that even such an important matter as the re-election of their president is organized very poorly by the Democratic Party. Are the Democrats tired and not going to win the presidential race? Then Mr. Trump’s chances of returning to the White House increase even more.
