Bad News, Good news – Who Knows?
The world is holding its breath - today is the presidential election in the US.
And no one can do anything about it, although many want to.
What will be, will be. This is life. The Brownian motion.

Today is the day of presidential election in the US and the result of this event is eagerly awaited all over the world. It is understandable - a horrible end is better than endless horror.
Many countries and people depend on America's choice which will not really happen today, but on December, 17 after the electors in all US states vote. However, the most interesting things will happen between these two dates and beyond. God willing, America will not have to postpone the inauguration of the new president, which is scheduled for January 20, 2025.
I think that if Ms. Harris wins the popular vote, Mr. Trump will definitely challenge the results and try to seize the power of the presidency through the court decision under pressure from his supporters on the streets, i.e. it will be a repeat of the scenario of January 6, 2021 on a larger scale with the threat of civil war. This time, Mr. Trump and the Republicans are much better prepared than in 2020, and have a greater chance of success.
And all this is happening in the US, like in some kind of banana republic! This is, of course, a complete degradation of the entire democratic state system.
Is this good or bad?
If Mr. Trump wins the popular vote, everything will go according to the schedule and everyone should feel the triumph of democracy in the country as the conflict-free transfer of power occurs in full accordance with the Constitution. Mr. Trump will become the next President of the US to the horror/pleasure of many people in America and around the world.
Is this good or bad?
Actually, the Americans are voting today for quick (Mr. Trump as President) or slow (Mrs. Harris as President) dying of the US as an ineffective country which will have to split into groups of more effective states. This is the law of evolution.
Is this good or bad?
No one is able to influence the outcome of this process, although many want to, and therefore constantly say and do something in accordance with their momentary understanding of "good" and "bad." In the end, everything goes as it goes, being constantly pushed and pulled in the opposite directions, and no one knows what will happen as a result of applied efforts. This is how «life happens» and it is unpredictable from the point of view of all participants. It is Brownian motion.
……….
Bad news, good news – who knows?
There are no "good" or "bad" things. It is just Yin-Yang principle at work. Any situation may work for or against you. Both ways are actually "good", because people often pursue stupid or needless goals, which would better never come true.
Good news or bad news - who knows? I watched many times how good news become bad ones and vice versa after because every story always has its continuation.
For example, long ago a friend of mine was very upset for not getting to a cruise ship. The ship's name was "Admiral Nakhimov" and it sank after colliding with another ship in Black Sea right at the time my friend had chosen for his vacation.
And then my friend died a few painful years later from brain cancer, leaving a little son. Sometimes I think maybe it would be better for him to drown with the ship. There are things worse than death.
So it is what it is. Neither good, nor bad.
