A Fish Rots from the Head

A serious scandal has broken out in America around the so-called "Epstein’s case" and the most interesting thing is that it did not come from the "insidious" Democrats, but from the pro-Trump people's movement MAGA. Conservative Americans, who brought Mr. Trump to power, want to know the truth. They do not understand why Mr. Trump has been accusing Democrats of hiding the details of this case for many years, but after coming to power he is in no hurry to reveal that truth.

Mr. Trump is a former friend of J. Epstein who died from alleged suicide in a Manhattan federal jail in August 2019 weeks after his arrest on child sex trafficking charges.

Fuel was added to the fire by Attorney General Pam Bondi, who initially assured the Americans that Epstein client’s list of high-ranking sex offenders was “sitting on my desk,” and after having stated that “the client’s list doesn’t exist”.

Later the Department of Justice determined in the memo that “no further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted.» The two-page DOJ memo bore the logos of the Justice Department and the FBI but was not signed by any individual official. Are they afraid of Mr. Trump?

Unusually, Mr. Trump's younger followers are also quite irritated by the behavior of his henchmen, even though the "Epstein’s case" does not seem to be that important to them.
“What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’” Mr. Trump asked on his Truth Social, having added also that Mrs. Bondi was doing a “FANTASTIC JOB!” and that he wanted his administration to focus on other issues.

The conservatives who have sought proof of a government cover-up of Epstein’s activities and death were also much frustrated by the memo of DOJ. In particular, far-right influencer J. Posobiec posted: “We were all told more was coming. That answers were out there and would be provided. Incredible how utterly mismanaged this Epstein mess has been. And it didn’t have to be.”

Mr. Trump seems reluctant to reveal the details and probably has his reasons. He even filed a lawsuit against the WSJ for publishing his alleged bawdy letter sent to Mr. Epstein’s for his birthday in 2003.

Now Mr. Trump appears to fall into the hole he dug for Mr. Biden.

Mr. Trump never expected to be attacked by his loyal and silly supporters.
I don't want to offend anyone here, but
1) I'm sure that's exactly what D. Trump thinks about them, and
2) he's right, because only those who do not have their own vision and understanding can be manipulated so much.

Mr. Trump has been feeding his followers primitive lies for years (like B. Obama was born outside the US or VIP sex offenders from “Epstein's list”) and they only support him more. Some of them (more than 60 people) have even served time in prison for participating in the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, while Mr. Trump condemned the violence on January, 7.

The current US President even said back in 2016: "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" He had long ago come to believe that he could manipulate them completely freely. And then such a "betrayal" came. Another lie about "draining the Washington swamp" with the help of "Epstein's list" turns against Mr. Trump.

"Epstein’s case” could lead to defeat in the 2026 midterm elections. MAGA representatives of all ages want "transparency." Why?

Many renown conservative podcasters, TV and on-line influencers, Elon Musk, some of Trump’s top supporters and congressional lawmakers have expressed their outrage over the administration’s decision to withhold information detailed in the reports. Some of the biggest commentators from MAGA spoke directly that this might alienate key segments of the movement that actually returned Mr. Trump to Washington, which could lead to defeat for the Republicans in the 2026 midterm elections.

Even a devoted Trump’s supporter House Speaker M. Johnson calls for transparency in Epstein’s case. For some reason, everyone suddenly needs the truth.
Why? To make sure that there is a caste of untouchables in America like in almost any other country? This has long been clear. Mr Trump himself is a living example of this by being a convicted felon who for some political reasons remained free.

The inconvenience of the truth is that something has to be done about it, while nobody usually wants to. That will be the case here. Many MAGA activists are pursuing the truth, but if they succeed, they won’t be able to change anything until the midterm elections or the end of Mr. Trump’s presidency.

The obvious truth of America.

1. Justice is selective in America, i.e. there is no real justice, which is fraught with problems for any country.
2. D. Trump is liar, boor, scoundrel and cheater, whom the decent, but ignorant American citizens elected as their president for some reason.
3. Mr. Trump doesn't need the truth that MAGA is asking about, he wants a convenient part of it, and genuinely doesn't understand why his followers want anything more.
And all this did not start yesterday. The Americans (now even Trump’s supporters) are again dissatisfied with their president and this is becoming a good tradition in this country. And I think that the problem here is not about the "bad" people, but about the unsuitable presidents from both major parties. Unfortunately, Americans have not learned to choose their leaders correctly.

Mr. Trump brought big and brazen lies as a tool of political struggle to Washington. There are online resources that keep statistics of the president's false statements. This lies were bound to catch up with him at some point. He had, to my great surprise, successfully avoided the consequences for a while, but now something unexpected has happened and Mr. Trump has fallen into the hole prepared for Mr. Biden .…

Nothing can be built on lies. However, Mr. Trump is not here to build something new (a 79-year-old man simply can't do that), but to destroy what exists. This is also a necessary work.

Mr. Trump is a liar and he simply cannot conduct his domestic and foreign policy in another way. He cannot lie only to the opponents and not lie to the supporters. And he, naturally, recruits similar people to his staff. The fish always rots from the head. That is why the USA is quickly heading towards its collapse. Many countries do not understand America and are currying favor with Mr. Trump just in case. Then they will regret it and turn away. I liked someone's phrase about "America first" is turning into "America alone."

And now young Trump-voting men from MAGA (and probably not only them) feel like "lost boys of MAGA." That's how it should be.
If a person doesn't have their own vision and opinion, then they blindly follows someone and usually it ends badly, even if the leader is a genius, not to mention such an eccentric, emotional and selfish person as Mr. Trump.

A fish rots from the head. The Americans get what they voted for, so everything is democratically done despite some mess in the country. And everyone is upset: the Americans, Democrats, Republicans, Mr. Trump himself, the Europeans, the Ukrainians and Chinese with the exception of the Russians (so far).
No one will be bored while Mr. Trump is at the helm of the US.
